What is Metal Slug X?

Metal Slug X steps up the fast-paced hybrid side-scrolling game to a new dimension of action! Produced by SNK in 1999 for the Neo-Geo arcade system, Metal Slug X acts as a sequel to Metal Slug 3, in which the Peregrine Falcons, Tarma Roving and Marco Rossi, team up with fresh recruits Fiolina Germi and Eri Kasamoto to thwart the evil General Morden. When Morden joins forces with alien invaders, things get very bad for Earth and very good for the heroes who have been called to save the day. The uninhibited action, insanely colorful graphics, and sick endless weapons massively keep the viewers in suspense.

Gameplay

Metal Slug X operates from the top-down. The dynamics are easy yet hard. You move, shoot, jump, and throw bombs at enemies and obstacles. Controls are straightforward: directional keys to move or walk, Z to shoot, X to jump, and C to throw bombs. The game leads you through stages filled with their special enemies, big bosses, and challenges. You have to grab power-ups or weapons to survive the fighting.
