What is Star Trek: Collective Mischief?

Star Trek: Collective Mischief is an adrenaline-pumping shooter-arcade game with a view from the cockpit of the legendary USS Enterprise-E. The Borg have come back with renewed vigor to assimilate the Federation, six years after the disastrous Battle of Wolf 359. Your goal, with the deck now in your hands, is to defend Earth, as well as the Alpha Quadrant, against this threat—as either Captain Jean-Luc Picard or Lt. Commander Worf. A quick and in-the-face action starship blasting game with the original starship charismas, it is the best definition of Star Trek.

How to Play

In Star Trek: Collective Mischief, you are given the dual choice of the USS Enterprise-E or the USS Defiant NX-74205, both of which come with variable ability levels different from one another. The Enterprise has magnificent firepower but is slow and big, whereas the Defiant is incredibly quick and nimble with less firepower. You are supposed to protect and defend the Federation by shooting down waves of opposing Borg ships and bosses. Use the arrow keys for movement, and hit the spacebar to fire. Power-ups appear randomly for you to collect and boost your ship's power.

Tips & Tricks

  • Choose Your Ship Wisely: For those new to the game, the Defiant is good to get to grips with for its speed and agility and then once confident you can move on to the Enterprise for great firepower.
  • Positioning is Key: Stay mobile and use your ship's speed advantage when dodging incoming fire.
  • Collect Power-ups: Power-ups can increase your firepower or give you temporary invulnerability. Keep looking for them!
  • Plan Your Attacks: Some enemies and bosses have weak points. Study their patterns prior to engaging.
